PhD Student
Beatrice Lascu received her master’s degree in Pharmacy at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest (Romania) in 2019, with a thesis in Pharmaceutical Botany and Cell Biology.
She attended two master courses in Nutrition and Food Safety (2019 – 2021) and in Social and Health Services Management (2020 – 2022). In 2022 obtained certification of “pharmacist specialist” from the Ministry of Health.
BL has a background in public procurement and works as a Procurement Specialist in a public authority.
In 2021 started her PhD program and her research activity is focused on the regulatory aspects regarding orphan medicinal products. In 2023 obtained a scholarship from the Ministry of Education of Romania to study certain regulatory aspects regarding access to medicines for rare diseases at the EU level, at the University of Milan (supervisor Prof. P. Minghetti).
