PhD Student
Chiara Meazzini graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Milan in 2022. During her master thesis internship at the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, in the pharmaceutical technology section, she worked on developing a process to obtain freeze-dried liposomes prepared by solvent injection. After graduating, she started her PhD in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Milan, working on the design and optimization of a 3D printer suitable for the extemporaneous preparation of orodispersible films. She is currently staying at the University of Granada, where the aim of her research is to encapsulate drugs into nanoclays that can be loaded into the 3D printed films for extended release.
