Francesco Rama obtained the Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Milan in 2024. The PhD project was related to the selection of peptides and polysaccharide moieties to drive nanoparticles penetration through biological membranes.
From February 2022 to March 2023, he was a visiting Ph.D. at the Gent Light Microscopy Core of UGent (Belgium) to conduct confocal microscopy studies on cornea membranes to determine the infiltration rate of fluorescent-labeled nanoparticles applied via transcorneal administration.
